【#1: 10/8(月・祝) 野口英世記念ふくしま国際音楽祭】
世界的口笛奏者であり、口笛コンクールの審査員も務められている柴田晶子さんと、クラシックギターの名手・竹内永和さんとの共演となります。数か月間にわたり続く珍しいタイプの音楽祭ですが、9月初めのオープニングアクトも柴田さんと、同じく口笛奏者の青柳呂武さんが務められました。口笛奏者3人、口笛演目が2回もある音楽祭は世界でも珍しいのではないかと思います。口笛演奏が音楽として世に認められ始めているということでしょう。喜ばしく、ありがたいことです。

クラシック音楽の音楽祭ではありますが、多ジャンルに精通されている竹内さんがギターを演奏してくださることもあり、クラシックはもちろんのこと、ポピュラー音楽やラテン音楽など幅広く演奏します。

【#2: 10/12(金) 5años(シンコアーニョス)ベネズエラ音楽ライブ in 東京】
シンコアーニョスとしての活動も4年目をむかえ、私のフィリピン移住後活動頻度は以前より少なくなりましたが以前と変わらないクオリティでお届けします。なんと、私が不在の間、8月に世界的にも有名なワールドミュージックフェスティバル「スキヤキ・ミーツ・ザ・ワールド」で演奏していたようです。その際の助っ人、クラリネットの有賀竣也氏をゲストに迎えた6人体制で、より厚みのある音をお届けします。私はその間フランスでベネズエラ音楽ワークショップに1週間ほど参加しておりましたが、その成果を発揮できるよう意気込んでいます。会場は5añosで何度もお世話になっている世田谷は祖師谷大蔵のカフェ・ムリウイさんです。

[#1: Mon. October 8, Fukushima International Music Festival]
Will present as a whistling duo with Ms. Akiko Shibata, world renown whistler and long-time judge of the World Whistling Convention, accompanied by classical guitarist Noriyasu Takeuchi. This is a rare occasion where there are 3 whistlers and 2 whistling stages in a single music festival of any sort. I am hopeful that the art of whistling is becoming more and more recognized in the music industry. We will perform a variety of songs from classical to jazz to Latin.
